With its close fit, this lightweight racewear offers a high level of comfort and excellent protection against fire and heat thanks to its three layers of flame retardant Nomex fibre. This simple looking suit, enhanced by the embroidered DriftShop logos, will suit most drivers who want to look good and be discreet.

Practical and functional, this FIA motorsport suit has an elasticated waistband and a collar, both of which are adjustable for a perfect fit, epaulettes which are very useful in the event of extraction from the vehicle after an accident, and large external pockets for storing your essential personal belongings. FIA 8856-2018 Approval

Newcomer in the world of competition, the FIA ​​8856-2018 standard arrives with its share of improvements for your safety. The main feature of this new FIA 8856-2018 standard is fire resistance, extended to 14 seconds instead of 11 previously. These 3 additional seconds may seem ridiculous, but faced with faster vehicles, more complex roll cages and additional safety equipment (Hans, nets), they will save lives by offering precious additional time to get out of a vehicle on fire.

Valid since 2012, driver equipment (gloves, shoes, suits, etc.) manufactured under the old 8856-2000 homologation will remain valid until 2028. However, manufacturers are required to stop production of this old standard right now. Nonetheless, some championships may require the new standard as of today, so do not forget to double check the regulations of each race.
